Greeting Chatham Park Families,
HASA is actively looking for ONE Homeroom parent for each classroom, by September 19.
As a Head Homeroom parent, you have a relationship with the teacher and act as a liaison between the teacher and caregivers. Families look to you to collect money for class gifts for the teacher, typically at winter holiday time and at the end of year. You will also be asked to relay pertinent HASA info to families periodically throughout the year.
Head Homeroom parents also assist in obtaining volunteers for classroom parties throughout the year. Parties are held on Halloween, right before winter break, Valentine’s Day, and End of the Year. PLEASE NOTE: IF MORE THAN ONE PARENT SIGNS UP FOR A CLASSROOM, WE WILL CONDUCT A RANDOM DRAWING TO SELECT THE HOMEROOM PARENT. We will limit one classroom per parent/guardian. Please note that if you are not selected to be a homeroom parent, there will be MANY opportunities to volunteer throughout the year at class parties and HASA events.

If you haven't already, please take a few minutes and do the following as soon as possible:
- Update your information including your student's teacher this year on the Membership Toolkit app. This can be done online or via the app. Details can be found here - Membership Toolkit
- HASA Dues- Please play your HASA Dues before October 1. Without support from our community, parents of Chatham Park, HASA would not be able to provide support to the school in the way we do. We appreciate all you can do. Click here to pay online - HASA Membership Dues.
- Join our Private Facebook groups for your grade. These groups are here to act as a forum to discuss anything HASA/Chatham Park related and post information about HASA events
